Wiley W. Westphal

Wiley W. Westphal, age 87, a life long Armada Township resident, passed away on Monday October 7, 2013 in Kalamazoo Michigan. Wiley was born on January 12. 1926 in Warren Michigan, the son of William Jr. and Laura (Licht). He married Betty J. DeLlowe on December 31, 1947. In Wiley’s Childhood on the family farm they used horses to farm and he told the story often of when he got the first tractor after World War II. Wiley worked for many years at Ray’s Electric as a truck driver. He was a very proud dairy and soy bean farmer. Wiley is survived by his wife Betty. Daughters Dolores (John) Dickinson of Richmond Michigan and Joy (Gary) Satterlee of Hickory Corners Michigan. Grandsons John Dickinson Jr., Thomas Wiley Dickinson, Michael Dickinson, and Steve Satterlee. Great grand children Austin, Zach, Taylor Dickinson, and Emma Satterlee. Funeral services will take place on Sunday October 13, 2013 at 3 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 to 4.
