William E. Hodson, age 67, a Macomb resident for 20+years, passed away on August 23, 2021 at home with his family by his side. William was born on January 13, 1954 in Santa Rosa California, son of Earl and Thelma (Stephens). Williams father passed when he was five, and he was raised by a wonderful father figure, Thelma’s husband, Ralph Hiller. William worked for DPW in the city of Sterling Heights for many years. William loved to watch all the Andy Griffin shows and was a big fan of Elvis. He loved being outdoors whether it was for work, boating, or attending his grand kids sporting events. His grand kids were his biggest motivation for life, he was known to have the biggest heart of gold. William is survived by his two daughters, Kelly (Matt) Zsido, and Kimberly (Andre) D’Angelo. William was the sole brother to seven sisters; late Betty Lou Walters, late Patricia Hodson, Susan Bohlinger, Janet Hodson, Julia Masters, Gigi (Blaze) Walczak, and Geri (Greg) Thomas. He also has three beautiful grandchildren, Peyton and Zane Zsido, and Salvatore D’Angelo. William is also survived by numorous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 4-8pm with a service at 7 pm. Private Funeral Service will take place at the Christian Memorial Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 12pm.
