William H. Parsons

William H. Parsons, age 78, a 20 year resident of Almont and formerly from Romeo, passed away at his home on Monday, January 25, 2010. William was born November 18, 1931 in Detroit, the son of Stanley and Wynonna Aletha (Murray) Gould. He married the former Agnes Stotts at the Utica Evangelical Church in Utica and she preceded him in death in 1999. Bill worked as a Postal Carrier for the Utica Post Office for 34 years before retiring in 1984. He then worked for 10 years as a maintenance person at the Romeo McDonalds. His hobbies were collecting old cars. William is survived by his children: Earl of Romeo, Debra Stoneman and Tony (Gloria) Parsons both of Mancelona, MI., and Mary Kalmanir of Almont. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 1 PM at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy with Rev. Mark Evans of St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, MI.
