William Harold Deering

William (Bill) Harold Deering, aged 58, of Oakland Michigan, passed away quietly in his sleep the morning of Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 in his mother’s home after a long illness. Bill was born February 7th 1951 in Detroit Michigan to William Brytz Deering (deceased) and Doreen Read Deering. Bill was well known around Romeo Michigan where he worked as a painter and sign maker for local merchants and residents. He enjoyed spending time in the local pubs and VFW halls with his friends and playing pocket billiards in which he was quite accomplished. Bill new a lot of the local history and enjoyed talking about it. He was friendly to all that crossed his path and enjoyed getting people to laugh with a joke or story. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him. He is survived by his mother Doreen Deering (of Oakland) his 3 sisters and 6 brothers; Janice Sullivan (of Australia), Mary Deering (of Florida), Lewis (Helen) Deering (of Oak Park), Paul Deering, Michael (Rose) Deering (of Romeo), Kathleen Bradley (of Sterling Heights), Carl (Jana) Deering (of Kalamazoo), Dave Deering (of San Francisco), and John Deering (of Oakland). He is also survived by eleven nephews and nieces. Visitation will be at Henry Malburg Funeral home on Friday September 4th, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a service at 8:00 pm. Burial in the family plot will take place on Saturday, September 4, 2009 at the Lakeville Cemetery in Addison Township. Donations to Henry Ford Hospice are appreciated. Visitation: on Friday from 2 - 9 PM Interment: Lakeville Cemetery in Addison Township
