 Willicent H. “Willy” Pfeiffer, age 85, a resident of Bruce Township and formerly from Painesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Orchards Nursing Facility in Armada. Willy was born May 9, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Helen (Black) Blair. She married Rich Pfeiffer on November 4, 1967 in Brathennahl, Ohio where Rich was stationed in the Army. Willy was a secretary for many years, first at Browning-Craine Company in Ohio and retired from the Romeo Elks as their secretary. Her joy in life was quilting. She gave quilting lessons all over the state, and when the Lions Leader Dog School in Rochester put on rooms for people needing leader dogs, she made quilts for all 48 rooms.

 Willy is survived by her husband Rich, children Janet (Shawn) Buechner, Beth (Jay) Roberts, and Bernard (Suzanne) Pfeiffer along with 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Connie.

 A Memorial Service will be set up after the Holidays.
