Wilma Marie Maurer

Wilma M. Maurer, (Lambert), age 73, of Riley Township, Michigan will have her funeral service on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. (8600 27 Mile Road, Washington Township, MI. 48094) The Reverend Jeffrey Draeger will officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo MI., 48065) and on Wednesday from 10 AM till the service starts at 11 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. After the luncheon at Our Redeemer immediately following the service, burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, East in Clinton Township. Mrs Maurer was born October 3, 1944 at the Bishop Hospital in Almont, Michigan the daughter of Arnold and Irene (Schultz) Lambert and Wilma passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. A retired Ford Motor Company employee, the “Watkins” lady and an avid quilter. She is a long time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald J. Maurer in July of 2005. Surviving are her two sons: John of Madison Heights and Mark (Laura) of Washington Township and her brother Earl (Barb) Lambert of Washington Township and sister-in-law Kaye Lambert, fiancée James A. Nye, and four grandchildren: Stephanie (Daniel), Nathaniel, Richard, and Nicholas. Wilma was preceded in death by her brother Al Lambert.
