Wanda Agnes Malinowski, age 93 of Westland, Michigan and formerly from the Dearborn area, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center in Westland. Wanda was born in New Jersey on April 20, 1916 the daughter of Leon and Stefania (Omilion) Cimochowski. She worked for many years at Park Davis/Phizer Corporation as a quality control expert. During WW II she was held in a Red Cross Camp which was a prison camp. When the war started and Hitler took over Poland, her father was executed because he was found with a rifle. Upon the war ending, she moved back to the United State which she married Tadeusz Malinowski who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2005. Wanda outlived her whole family. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 5 at 6:30 PM with Fr. Jerry Kessell officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday at St Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn. Visitation will be on Saturday from 3 PM till 6:30 PM.
